Grandad was a person who was kind, caring and happy. No matter how big or small our achievements he would always be proud of us and we are incredibly proud of you.
He would always encourage us and enjoy each day. Whether it was tending his garden, doing tai chi or taking photographs. He taught me that life should be happy and not perfect.
So many people throughout his life were touched by his kindness and genuine appreciation for living. He would never complain and always offer his help.
Even if it meant having to drive back to the fish and chip shop, after nearly going all the way back home. Just because Grandma forgot the salt and vinegar. This happened often!
Thank you Grandad for the many things you’ve done and all the times you were there. We are very proud of you and we love you very much.
